Original Peritoneal Dialysis Transfer Set Holder for Baxter

SHIPMENT ARRIVED IN GOOD SHAPE NOTHING BROKEN AND VERY USELFUL FIR MY PD CARE

Using this holder is a snap! (See what I did there?) I used to use belts with the Fresenius transfer set, but when I switched to Baxter, the belt just wasn't working for me.
I did read several reviews about how it is difficult to pop the transfer set out of the holder. I was even contemplating drilling a hole in the back of the holder to be able to push it out. However, here is the solution: when you snap the transfer set into the holder, make sure that the flat sides of the cap are facing the sides of the holder. Then, you can grasp the holder at the middle, and use your dominant hand to grab the flat sides of the cap and pull it right out! Like I said, it's a snap!

I recently had to switch from Fresenius PD to Baxter. With my Fresenius extension the PD belt seemed to work OK. With the Baxter extension, I was not happy. This product is wonderful!

I had a similar experience, so I was thinking of drilling a hole in the back so that I could push it out of the holder. Then I realized that if you put the cap in the holder so that you can grip the two flat sides, it works perfectly. Just hold the holder in the middle, grip the two flat sides of the cap with your thumb and forefinger and pull it right out. Very easy that way. However, if it’s slightly rotated and those flat surfaces are not available, it is more difficult. If that is the case, you can rotate it in the holder until those flat surfaces are accessible.
