At MandMcares, we understand that healing isn’t just physical. it’s emotional, too. For patients undergoing dialysis, chemotherapy, or infusion treatments, clinical settings can often feel cold, both literally and figuratively. Having to expose the chest or upper body to provide access to treatment lines and ports can leave patients feeling cold, vulnerable, and uncomfortable, compromising their sense of privacy and dignity during an already challenging time.

Founded in 2020 during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, MandMcares was born from the firsthand experiences of nurses who spent years caring for patients at the bedside. We witnessed the discomfort and vulnerability patients experienced during treatment, along with their need for warmth, dignity, and reassurance. Inspired by our patients’ resilience, we knew there had to be a better way to make treatment more comfortable.

That is why we created adaptive treatment apparel designed around patients’ real needs. Our clothing combines soft, warm, high-quality fabrics with thoughtfully placed zippers that provide convenient access to fistulas, grafts, ports, and catheter sites helping patients stay covered, comfortable, and confident throughout treatment.
